Stephanie Bernaba has been writing personally since she was three apples tall, and professionally since 2011.
She has a particular affinity for entertainment, women’s issues, sociological phenomena, life in the digital age, and discovering how best to raise a family in a chaotic world.
Her work has been featured by publications such as The New York Times and HuffPost Live, she was named a BlogHer Voice of the Year in the Humor category in 2014, and was featured during the 2014 season of the nationally-acclaimed Listen to Your Mother series.
Stephanie has been taking pictures professionally since 2013, focusing on flora, landscapes, seascapes, fine art and sculpture, and the occasional Hollywood star, and intends to continue doing so far into the future.
Stephanie writes features for her colleagues in the American Society of Journalists and Authors‘ bimonthly magazine, at local magazines and newspapers, and volunteers for the Communications Department at Make-a-Wish Massachusetts Rhode Island.
She creates jewelry and photography gifts and as a member of the South County Art Association in Kingston, Rhode Island. She studies music and sings with a band, local choirs, and a ministry choir that performs all over the world.
Stephanie enjoys hunting for consignments and collectibles, art, travel, kickboxing, and biking, but spends the majority of her time serving her family and community.
And she’s a hugger.
Stephanie is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Journalism and Women Symposium, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
