I’ve been working on this post for a while, carefully weighing the merits of some of our new classics, in hopes that I can carefully curate them and be the first to

introduce them to my kids.

Your kids, you say? But they’re only three and four!

I know. I know.

Let’s just say I’m looking ahead – being proactive.

If you were to compile a list of movies you absolutely insist your kids see, what would be on it?

Please come by and read mine at BlogHer. It’s got a few surprises. And bring your 3D glasses. There’s always the possibility of a 3D re-release.

  1. My kids are older than yours – in high school – and I’m happy to report I’ve done my job showing them half of these movies: T2, Ferris, The Shining, Scream, and Titanic. (They’ve seen parts of Something About Mary because it was on…but I played it cool and avoided discussing Mary’s ‘hair gel’ at the time.)

In any case, I love all the movies on your list, with the exception of Adventures in Babysitting (which I honestly can’t remember seeing all the way through).
So now, I’ll be scoping that one out on Netflix.

    PS: FRANK AND BEANS!
